Restoring Kinship, 2018 - present

As my awareness of, and connection to, the natural world evolved I began to create visual expressions of remembrance and frequency, as an act of love and acknowledgement for the wisdom of nature and the enlivening spirits that inhabit the elemental and auric spaces. As I walked the land, words and messages would arrive through me, which would then inspire the creation of the collages below.

The artworks are a totem and declaration of recognition and appreciation for the intangible beings and realm of spirit that support our existence, as well as to the physical elements of the wild; the trees, the rivers, the stones, the plants, the wind, the sun, and act as a visual bridge and offering of kinship.
